{"id":33,"date":"2019-09-09T03:06:40","date_gmt":"2019-09-09T03:06:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flagship.iium.edu.my\/flagship-18\/?p=33"},"modified":"2019-10-09T03:36:05","modified_gmt":"2019-10-09T03:36:05","slug":"the-training-of-trainers-tot-workshop-on-philosophy-and-current-issues-undergraduate-course","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flagship.iium.edu.my\/fpk\/2019\/09\/09\/the-training-of-trainers-tot-workshop-on-philosophy-and-current-issues-undergraduate-course\/","title":{"rendered":"THE TRAINING OF TRAINERS (TOT) WORKSHOP ON PHILOSOPHY AND CURRENT ISSUES UNDERGRADUATE COURSE"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u2018Training of Trainers (ToT)\nWorkshop on Philosophy and Current Issues new undergraduate course was\nsuccessfully held on 5<sup>th<\/sup> to 6<sup>th<\/sup> September 2019 (Thursday-Friday)\nat Al-Ghazali Conference Room, Level 2, Kulliyyah of Education. The two-day\nworkshop was conducted specifically for IPTA lecturers who will be teaching the\nnew Philosophy course. The workshop was initiated by the Ministry of Higher\nEducation (MOHE) with the collaboration of Centre for Teaching Thinking (CTT),\nKulliyyah of Education, IIUM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thirty-nine participants from eleven (11) universities\nattended the workshop. The workshop began with a welcoming remark by the Dean\nof Kulliyyah of Education, Prof. Dr. Ainol Madizah Zubairi and a short briefing\nwas delivered by Prof. Madya Dr. Wan Zuhainis Saad, the Director of Academic\nExcellence Division, Department of Higher Education (JPT). The main speakers\nfor the two-day workshop were Prof. Dr. Rosnani Hashim, Professor Emeritus Tan\nSri Dato\u2019 Dzulkifli Abdul Razak and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Isham Pawan Ahmad. The\nworkshop was concluded with a discussion on the implementation of the course\nled by Assoc.
