The Training of Trainers (ToT)\nWorkshop on Falsafah Pendidikan Kebangsaan (FPK) for IIUM Schools was conducted\non 30th<\/sup> September and 1st<\/sup> October 2019 (Monday \u2013 Tuesday).\nThe ToT workshop was jointly organised by Centre for Teaching Thinking (CTT),\nKulliyyah of Education (KOED), IIUM and ISSB as part of KOED\u2019s FPK flagship\nproject. The duration of the workshop was one and a half day, and held at IIS\nPrimary School on the first day, while the workshop was held at Kulliyyah of\nEducation on the second day. The workshop was attended by 35 teacher\nadministrators from IIUM schools such as the Principals, Headmasters, Heads of\nDepartment and Coordinators from Setiabudi Primary and Secondary schools, and\nIIS Primary and High schools. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop began with a welcoming remark by the CEO, Tuan Haji Khaharuddin Abdul Rahman, and an opening Remark from the Chairman of IISB Board, Prof. Dr. Ismail Sheikh Ahmad. The morning session of the workshop commenced with Prof. Dr. Rosnani Hashim\u2019s session on the genesis and objectives of FPK and a modelling of Hikmah Pedagogy. In the afternoon, a sharing session was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suhailah Hussien showcasing Puan Mawarni Hassan\u2019s MENTARI Project and Dr. Norzalifa Zainal Abidin\u2019s Jungle School Gombak. The workshop was concluded with a talk on FPK and Sejahtera Education by Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dato\u2019 Dzulkifli Abdul Razak on the second day. In conclusion, the objectives of the workshop were successfully met, which were to introduce FPK to IIUM schools and help the schools to have an idea on how to align the schools\u2019 vision and mission with FPK through Sehatera Education depicted from the sharing session. The Kulliyyah plan to have a round table discussion with the administrators of IISB as the next step to help them integrate FPK in their school culture and plan on how to develop and implement projects that will help to realise Sejahtera Education. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
