{"id":51,"date":"2019-10-04T03:36:16","date_gmt":"2019-10-04T03:36:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/flagship.iium.edu.my\/flagship-18\/?p=51"},"modified":"2019-11-04T04:50:28","modified_gmt":"2019-11-04T04:50:28","slug":"training-of-trainers-tot-workshop-on-falsafah-pendidikan-kebangsaan-fpk-for-ipg-kampus-pendidikan-islam-bangi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/flagship.iium.edu.my\/fpk\/2019\/10\/04\/training-of-trainers-tot-workshop-on-falsafah-pendidikan-kebangsaan-fpk-for-ipg-kampus-pendidikan-islam-bangi\/","title":{"rendered":"TRAINING OF TRAINERS (TOT) WORKSHOP ON FALSAFAH PENDIDIKAN KEBANGSAAN (FPK) FOR IPG KAMPUS PENDIDIKAN ISLAM BANGI"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Training of Trainers (ToT)\nWorkshop on Falsafah Pendidikan Kebangsaan (FPK) for IPG Kampus Pendidikan\nIslam, Bangi was conducted on 1<sup>st<\/sup> until 2<sup>nd<\/sup> October 2019\n(Tuesday \u2013 Wednesday). The ToT workshop was organised by Centre for Teaching\nThinking (CTT), Kulliyyah of Education (KOED), IIUM as part of KOED\u2019s FPK\nflagship project. The workshop was held at Kulliyyah of Education and was\nattended by 25 lecturers from IPG Kampus Pendidikan Islam Bangi, and one from\nIPGM. The objectives of the workshop were to revisit FPK and to share the concept\nof Sejahtera Education so that IPG can plan on the improvement of its\nimplementation in schools. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ToT began with Professor Emeritus Tan Sri Dato\u2019\nDzulkifli Abdul Razak\u2019s talk on FPK and Sejahtera Education followed by a\ndiscussion led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suhailah Hussien on how the Malaysian\ncurriculum assists in realizing FPK and some of its challenges. The afternoon\nsession continued with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wan Mazwati Mohd Yusof\u2019s session on\nHikmah Pedagogy as a means to realise one of the aspirations of FPK. The second\nday of the ToT began with Prof. Dr. Rosnani Hashim moderating a practice\nsession of Hikmah Pedagogy with the IPG lecturers. Next, Prof. Dr. Noorlide Abu\nKassim delivered a session on assessment and the ToT was concluded with a\nreflection of Hikmah Pedagogy and its assessment led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wan\nMazwati Mohd Yusof.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In conclusion, the objectives of the workshop were successfully met, which were to revisit FPK, examine its challenges and identify some of the ways that can be used to improve the implementation of FPK in schools. A meeting will be organised by IPG Kampus Pendidikan Islam to discuss two matters; to assist IPG Kampus Pendidikan Islam Bangi in reviewing the current courses to introduce the new undergraduate courses replacing TITAS and Hubungan Etnik, and to develop a module for training for FPK and Sejahtera Education in schools. The Kulliyyah will also work towards formalizing this collaboration through a clear agreement between the two parties. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\"
