“Congratulations” to Jungle School Gombak Malaysia for achieving the Platinum Award Rank along with triple Special Awards in this year’s Prix Eiffel 2023 Contest. It’s amazing what JSGM is able to deliver creative works and innovation also for continuously promoting Malaysia’s tradition and history. We are well aware of your team led by Dr. Norzalifa and the creative director Ms. Aina Suhaila and supporting cast powered by RMAF Major Sir Kalim Pie because as you probably know, our organisation is also a collaborative unit of ICAN-Toronto, Canada. So, thank you very much for taking part in Prix Eiffel 2023 as well and we highly recognize and commemorate your outstanding progress shown which was reflected by your Platinum Award (given to only the highest assessed participants of the entire competition).
During our evaluation at Prix Eiffel 2023, we were mesmerized by watching your introductory video. Your director is truly creative and freshly produced the video firstly for the jury’s friendly first impression. And the contents obviously was unique and one-of-a-kind project that can only be done by JSGM. So from here, you achieved a lot of marks for the originality. JSGM practices a great cause for educating deep-down wisdom derived through a long period of time and experience by the previous generation and above, to the children of today. That holds a huge power culturally and it follows an idealistic socio-economic principles.
And this wisdom channeling tradition will continue to go on for the next generation after generation. Thus, the decision was not difficult to be made when selecting the award for JSGM wisdom and by the unanimous decision of the jury committee, and by the recommendation of TISIAS and proven award history from many iCAN editions in the last several years, you were selected for the Prix Eiffel Platinum Award + 3 International Special Awards of our partners. We hope that in some future occasions, we can really make a visit to your community and physically experience your ways. Thank you very much and wishing all of you a lot of success in future years. “Jungle School Gombak Malaysia (JSGM) has now become a pivotal part of iCAN since their first participation in 2020. They have incrementally shown their innovative and cultural development through their participation in iCAN over the last 4 editions since 2020. They have shown us, truly another part of the world’s art, culture and passion towards their innovative society in Malaysia.
All of our committee members always watch their amazingly filmed videos and wish that one day we could all visit the place and meet with them. We see the growth and improvement of our event iCAN together with the growth and improvement of JSGM. We now can say that we have walked the roads together for some years now and hope that we can all continue to thrive and be great in what we do for the next many years to come.

“We are familiar with this group from Malaysia. They joined our Great Canadian Invention Show “ICAN” for the last several years. Once again, they have certainly proved their high ability to invent, to innovate the “JUNGLE SCHOOL MENTORING FOR SUSTAINABLE EMPOWERMENT” project they presented for this year’s iCAN. This mentoring program protects the long heritage, culture and history of mankind’s way of survival using the most effective and educable methods. It is an effective tool that can be used for connecting different generations of people. Jungle School Gombak Malaysia is an already recognized and well-certified team during the past iCANs in 2020 and 2021. We can’t wait to see what our jurors will decide upon their high achievements to be made in the Finals. We sincerely want the jungle school to further expand their landscapes and make this knowledge- sharing and empowerment program modules to all necessary marketplaces.”
“We have experienced the great creative presentation by IIUM Jungle School Gombak Malaysia since last year’s iCAN 2020. And once again this year, they have presented an excellent project by the name of [JUNGLE SCHOOL SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY BASED TOURISM AND OUTREACH INNOVATION ENHANCEMENTS] in which we truly love watching their video presentation as well because it was quite highly prepared very professionally. Their participation in iCAN 2020 was crucial and still is on the rock for this year’s iCAN 2021. Their presentation was truly remarkable and made all of us at iCAN committee to someday visit this great place on earth in the Jungle School Gombak Malaysia. We also searched for their website and saw many great features and natural beauty that’s surrounding them.
Our jury crew are honoured to bestow them with the Gold Medal Award, and Special Award from EUROBUSINESS-HALLER in Katowice, Poland. As well, for their one of a kind video presentation, they were also selected for the Best Invention Video Award in the Finals. “Jungle School Gombak Malaysia (JSGM) and their great team of participants led by Dr. Norzalifa Zainal Abidin showed us another leap towards their success in innovation and advanced skills. Even with the previous success of JSGM in iCAN 2020-2023, they continue to improve on their presentation both in the Preliminaries and the Finals. The quality of their video especially was remarkable. In the accumulated recognition during this year’s competition in Toronto, Jungle School Gombak Malaysia has achieved the Jury’s Choice Award this year as it was ‘especially’ recognized by the iCAN 2024 Jury Committee. In addition, our African representative delegation, Organization for Creativity, Innovation, and Invention Promotion (OCIIP) acknowledged the value of JSGM’s innovation that propels the cultural maintenance, facilitation, and channeling the knowledge & wisdom of the Orang Asli Tribes to the future generation.
Therefore, OCIIP has selected the project to be rewarded with OCIP SCORE during competition. This innovative system that shows how we value such a pure utility is they have cultivated what I know of indigenous knowledge and wisdom and how it can be operationally effective generation while the world is rapidly today’s fast in time, that we live in than it is very important that life in the past because history is what makes us really see in the mirror today and tomorrow.”
