  1. Awareness & Community Engagement<\/strong>
    \u201cKnow your river\u201d is part of the awareness campaign by FOSP. Engaging the community neighboring and surrounding IIUM in ROL program. This involves other IHLs, schools and Orang Asli.<\/li>
  2. Biodiversity and Beautification<\/strong>
    Planting trees and flowers along the Sungai Pusu river bank will not only beautify the area but provide environmental benefits such as preventing soil erosion, providing shelter for wildlife and decreasing runoff of pollutants into the water. This should provide rich habitat where many species of flora and fauna co-exist.<\/li>
  3. Research<\/strong>
    Challenges faced in Pusu River System are an opportunity for researchers to explore solutions that could be implemented to address these challenges. The areas of research are not limited to science and engineering. It extends to all fields, KAED, IRKH, AIKOL, ECONS, ICT, etc. Final year projects, integrated design projects and postgraduate students could be actively involved.<\/li>
  4. Rehabilitation<\/strong>
    Rivers flowing in a university campus should reflect a natural aesthetic and recreational attraction to the residents and visitors. Rehabilitation strategy is to be outlined. <\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
