Background

The 9th Asia Pacific Futures Network Conference (APFN9) will be hosted in Malaysia for the first time this year, reckoning local wisdom and regional approaches in promoting academia-industry-government-society cooperation to inspire innovative breakthroughs towards positive futures of sustainability and well-being. Catering researchers, practitioners, and policymakers all together, the conference intends to highlight futures-oriented work in the region while focusing on inter-sectoral activities in research, science, and technology for societal betterment and civilizational preservation to comprehend the changing trajectory of Asia, the emerging issues and disruptors in a decade, and the alternative futures.
